After years of leaks, Minecraft Dungeons 2 has been officially announced.

Minecraft has loads of mods and datapacks players can install to get third-party features. These can be anything from new shadow and lighting graphics to in-game items, blocks, structures, and mobs.

There is no exact release window for Minecraft Dungeons 2, but it's currently slated for 2026. Expect it to come to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 whenever it's ready.
