TIGNALL, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Buddhist monks’ peace walk passed through Wilkes and Lincoln counties on their way to South Carolina on Tuesday. Now, the monks are making their way to McCormick County, marking day 73 of their journey. The walk is also on track to move through Saluda County.

WILKESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Buddhist monks’ peace walk will pass through Wilkes County, according to the sheriff’s office. There is no confirmed time or routes yet, the sheriff’s office says, but on Saturday, the monks were passing through Oglethorpe County.
